The Villa Inside

The villa is on two floors with a total living area of some 180m² and furnished throughout to a high standard in light Mediterranean style (linen curtains, fully tiled bathrooms with quality fittings, hide sofas, hair dryers etc.). There's central heating for the winter months.

The upper floor is reached by an outside staircase leading to the main living area. This is a combined living and dining room with three distinct areas. The main sitting area has a comfortable 2 seater hide sofa with fabric cushions, and two easy chairs facing a wood burning stove (very cosy in winter) and a TV (Spanish TV and 20+ UK channels via a digibox) + DVD player. There's a matching 2 seater hide sofa in the more open part of the room. In front of the windows giving onto the terrace and with a great view of the sea is the glass topped dining table for 8 (with retractable leaves so it can be made smaller). There's a small radio/CD/cassette player.

Off the living area is a study / dressing room with a phone + high-speed broadband internet connection.

The study / dressing room leads to the master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, basin and loo). This bedroom has sliding glass doors giving onto its own balcony/terrace, again with fine sea views.

The second bedroom on this floor is a twin, with its own bathroom (shower, basin and loo).

On the ground floor are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The double has large sliding glass windows giving out to a naya (covered terrace) and the pool area. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, loo and basin).

A door leads out to the naya (covered terrace) and the open balcony/terrace running along the length of the front of the villa. This overlooks the pool and has fine sea views. The open part can be covered with a retractable canvas awning. An attractive wooden table and 8 hard wood chairs provide al fresco eating.

The kitchen is compact but fully functional with fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There's an outside sink with hot and cold water and additional work space, very useful if there is more than one preparing food and for washing up after BBQs.

The secondary living room is also on this level. This is furnished with a couple of comfortable 2 seater sofas and an easy chair. A wall mounted TV (Spanish TV only) provides entertainment.

There's also a small kitchen area in the ground floor living room with twin ceramic hob, a microwave, sink and a fridge so it's possible to use the ground floor accommodation virtually as a separate flat.

The laundry facilities (washing machine and separate dryer) are also on this floor, in a separate room off the main bathroom. There's an iron and ironing board.

Please note that there is no internal communication (doorway) between the ground floor double bedroom and the ground floor twin bedroom, neither are there internal stairs. If this causes problems for the sleeping arrangements (young children etc.) there are two fold-away beds that can be used as required - for example in the upstairs study/dressing room. But please note that the maximum number of people that the villa can accommodate is 8.
