Answers To Your Questions

What's included in the price? The rental price includes the use of the property as a holiday rental, welcome pack, utilities (water, gas and electricity) and use of the telephone (but not the cost of telephone calls), provision of linen and towels (but not beach towels) and normal end of stay cleaning.

How do I get to Casa de las Sonrisas? You will need the use of a car. You can easily hire one at the airport. Best is to pre book, which you can do with most car rentals.

What time can we arrive? Check-in is usually after 16:00 hours on your arrival day. This gives us time to clean and change the linen after the previous rental.

Can I use all the laundry facilities in the property? Yes, the washing machine and dryer are available for your use.

What about a cot and high chair? We can normally arrange both (+ bedding) for a nominal nightly charge.

Are pets allowed? Sorry- we don't allow any animals in the villa.

Who will let me in? Our experience is that most people prefer to be told where to find the keys and to let themselves in. We have extensive Welcome Notes which tell you all about the property, the local shops and restaurants, the sporting facilities and the surrounding area. You will be given the telephone number of our English speaking representatives who will be happy to try to answer any questions you may have or sort out any difficulties. Should you wish our representatives to be at the property when you arrive this service is available for an optional extra payment of £20/€30.

What is the welcome pack of breakfast provisions and basic toiletries? It's provisions for a light, continental style breakfast for the first couple of days of your stay: bread/rolls, butter, jams, tea and coffee, sugar, milk, fruit juice and cereals plus any special requests - subject to price and availability - and basic toiletries such as soap, loo paper, washing up liquid etc.

How will I get to know about the area, what there is to see and do? We provide a very comprehensive set of notes listing everything of interest to see and do, including details of all the good local restaurants.

Can I use the telephone? Of course. The cost of your calls will be charged against your deposit.

What television is there? There are two televisions - one in each living area. Each can receive normal Spanish TV. The upstairs living area has a digibox that receives some 20 UK channels (including the 5 terrestrial channels) and a DVD player.

Can I use the internet? Yes! We now have a high-speed, broadband ADSL connection + wifi router - so you can use your laptop even by the pool!

What servicing is there? We will come and change the towels and bed linen every week. You are expected to make your beds, do your washing up, keep the place clean and put out your rubbish. We can arrange for daily or mid week servicing at an additional cost if required.

What do I do when I leave? With the exception of the laundry, you are expected to leave the property in the same state in which you found it. Either one of our representatives will be on hand to see you out, or we will ask you to leave the key in the villa and close the door after you. Check-out is normally by 10.00 hrs but may be later by prior agreement.

When will I get my security deposit back? We will refund your credit card with your deposit less any charges incurred - telephone calls, extra cleaning (if required), damages, etc. - within 15 days of your departure.

Can I take this opportunity to thank you for such a good holiday. The villa was superb, the weather unbelievable for the end of October, and allowing us the extra time on the last Saturday gave us time to pack in comfort.
